A good way to get started in PICs is to go to the following link: Microprocessors in Engineering. It is a brief introduction to PICs by David E. Thompson, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Idaho. To go further, try the free tutorials written by David Meiklejohn, a frequent visitor to our meetings.
